A Clinic that Cares
Dogwood began with one vet’s dream of delivering personalized care to pets and their loyal people. After witnessing the impersonal approach of so many corporatized clinics, Dr. Lindsay Riddick knew she needed to strike out on her own to create a different kind of practice.
Finding a Spark
After meeting Dr. McLeod of McLeod Animal Clinic, Round Rock’s first veterinary practice, Dr. Riddick found her professional home. Her deep connection with the McLeods inspired her to take over the business in August 2018. Today, Dogwood offers an expanded list of services, while staying committed to our warm, neighborly roots!
Dr. Riddick’s early veterinary career was spent training in corporate practices. After 8 years in the industry, she wanted to build a place where she could give pets and their people the care they deserved. After meeting Dr. Wade McLeod of McLeod Animal Clinic, Dr. Riddick realized she had finally found her home. The two vets connected over their kind approach to animal care, and Dr. McLeod passed the practice on to Dr. Riddick before moving into retirement.
Today, Dogwood is proud to carry on the legacy of McLeod Animal Clinic, while expanding the list of services we can offer to our patients, including integrative care, surgery and dental cleanings.
